Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center
The Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center (RHSC) offers treatment for patients with problems of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Our center is comprised of six orthopedic hand surgeons and several therapists with specialized training in upper extremity rehabilitation. Currently, RHSC is the largest private medical group from the Outer Banks to the foothills of North Carolina dedicated to hand and upper extremity care. Founded in 1991, our center has a strong tradition in the Raleigh community. RHSC is an independent medical practice not controlled by an outside institution or hospital.
Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeons in Wake County
For patients with upper extremity emergencies, the RHSC is the only physician group in Wake County with a fellowship-trained board-certified orthopedic hand surgeon on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Patients with urgent problems can be seen by a physician on the same day or next day in most cases. Every patient is evaluated by a compassionate, fellowship-trained physician, and surgery is only recommended after considering non-surgical options. From minor cuts to major hand injuries, the RHSC specialists strive to restore function and improve quality of life. We would be honored to care for you or your loved one.
In 2013 Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center constructed a new state-of-the-art office to better serve patients. The new office features digital x-ray imaging, electronic medical records, and convenient patient parking in a location accessible to the I-440 Beltline in Raleigh.
